Greg & Marion Gaensler & our Elders

Marion and I were born and raised into German immigrant families in Southern Ontario. Greg came to know Jesus as his personal LORD and Saviour at the age of nine at Miller Lake Baptist Camp (a ministry of Central Baptist Church, Kitchener). Marion grew up at Mission Baptist Church in Hamilton and gave her life to Jesus through the teaching and love of her church family. Greg received a call to go into ministry in 1986-87 and it was confirmed by godly people including Marion’s former pastor. In 1990, we left for Western Canada to study at Taylor Seminary, Edmonton followed by serving the LORD in Camrose, AB and Seven Sisters Falls, MB. We have been serving at Calvary Bible Church since September 2011.

It is a real blessing to serve with four elders who are godly men, capable of teaching God’s Word, and genuinely caring for God’s people (1 Timothy 3:1-7; 1 Peter 5:1-4). We appreciate your continued prayers for all of us as we serve God together with His power and wisdom.
